Elder San Diego

Hey y'all!  Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we went to get a car wash and came back to the flat to change and email. Then we went out to lunch with the zone leaders and played basketball at the church building. And the YSA Sisters came too. We got a call from a member to come over for dinner at the end of the p-day. So we went to have dinner with the McBrides and they are super cool, chill people. Then we exchanged with the zone leaders. Wednesday, we did our studies and went out to lunch. Then we had a really good lesson with our investigator Chloe who has a baptismal date for the 14th and helped a women packed her car because someone told her to leave California and NEVER come back since she testified against her cousin's ex-husband for a restraining order and restraining order against his son and is now going to kill her for testifying against him. Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we came back to the flat to change and put stuff away and dropped off our car at the shop to get 4 new tires and a oil change. The zone leaders picked us up and went to Sea World! I haven't been to Sea World since Blake and Kenzie's wedding. We had a blast at Sea World! Our mission president gave us permission to ride the rides too! Then we went to the mission office to get mail and needs. Then we went to pick up the car and got ready for the evening. We had an interesting but good lesson with a less-active member and went to Balboa Park to do some finding and played badminton while finding too! By the way, I'm pretty terrible at badminton but it's fun and pretty intense. Wednsday, we did our studies and Elder Chen did MyPlan and had lunch. Then we did some finding until dinner with the Speeds. We visted a few members in the ward and did call-ins. Thursday, we had district meeting and lunch. Then we did language study ...

First I would like to say, thank y'all for all the birthday wishes, packages and letters. I'm an actual adult. I had a great birthday! Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we came back to the flat to change and put stuff away. I got a haircut and we went to pick up the ZLs to get some lunch and went to the beach as a district to play on the beach. Then a member in the UC 1st ward took us out to dinner and did some finding. Wednsday, we did our studies and went to the stake centre to do a baptismal interview for the Zone Leaders. Then we had lunch and went to do some finding until dinner with the Speeds. Then we did some more finding and went back to the flat to prepare for call-ins. Thursday, we went to go pick up some of the ASL Elders and went to the church for interviews with President.  Tuesday, we exchange with Del Norte and went to the transfer meeting spot in Mission Valley. Then I got with my new-old compaion, Elder Chen and went to the place where we live to unpack. We live at a members home and it's both of us first time to live in a members home and white-wash an area. We went to lunch with one of my friends from bountiful, Cameron Auernig, Maddy Pettit and their friends from USU. Then we went shopping and finished unpacking and went to the church to play some sports and email. Then we met the older couple member who we live with and visted the bishop of the ward for the English and Mandarin branch since we are attending both. In my district, we have 6 Mormon Battalion Sisters, 3 YSA Sisters and 4 Elders including Elder Chen and I. Wednsday, we went to some flat complex to give a baptismal interview for the YSA Sisters. Then we had lunch and did language study. And Elder Chen did some MyPlan and did some finding until dinner with Sister Speed. Then we went...

 Tuesday, we did some laundry and went shopping. Then we went to the church to have multi-zone sports and had dinner. Then we tried some referrals and less-actives. Wednsday, we went to see a less-active who is in EMT training and needed to take our vials and had back-to-back service with a member and a former-investigator. Then we visited a few investigators and had dinner with Rosa who's a less-active member and had LH correlation. Thursday, we went to have lunch with the Del Norte elders at an all you can eat buffett and had weekly planning, writing a draft email to our DL to fix the issue with one of our ward mission leaders because he's a hypocrite and told us that we're not doing a good job, comparing us to the missionaries in Boston and he's not supportive. And that's pretty much the nicest way of putting it. And we worked on stake packets and visted a few investigators and did some finding. Wednesday, we cleaned our place up for inspections tomorrow morning. Then we did some service for someone in the ward and did some finding. Then we did some finding until dinner with the Krauses and visited a few families in the wards. We got a tow notice thing on our car. Then had a district video conference call. Thursday, we cleaned up our place before we got our flat inspected. Then we had a lesson with a part-member family but that fell through so we contacted a few people. Friday, we did some service for someone who's right now a potential and then had district lunch and meeting. Then we went to dinner at the Trepeniers and visited a family. I got the greenie so I'll be training him tomorrow. Wednsday, we did some service for a former-investigator and then we did some finding until dinner with the De Guzmans and had a part member family lesson. Then we went to mutual and had a lesson with an investigator who is getting baptized next Saturday and had a district video conference and exchange back. Thursday, we did some weekly planning and visited an investigator who's going through a nasty trail next week. Then we did some more finding and had RB correlation. Friday, we helped an investigator and had a lesson with investigators. Tuesday, for the rest of the day we did our laundry and on our way to shop we got pulled over because the car registration sticker wasn't there and we showed the officer our registration card and it was up to date. So he said that someone must of stolen the sticker off our car and got our haircuts. We went to the post office to send some stuff and to the beach to play football and rugby and just play in the sand. Which by the way I scored 8 touchdowns and 12 tries, so ya that was fun. Then we went to the church building to get mail and finish emailing. We had a really good lesson with 3 investigators Ryan, Rucelle, and Richard. Wednsday, we cleaned the church to prepare for a chapel tour and that took forever. Then we visited a few investigators and see how they're doing. We had dinner with the Smalls and they're awesome. Well a few of things I have to start out with, one shout-out to Kenzie because her birthday was this past Friday, so Happy Birthday!! And second off, please pray for the Welches' granddaughter who's in the NICU. And third off, Paige and Katja had their sons on Monday the 22nd. And Paige's son was born at 4:20, haha. Tuesday, for the rest of the day we went to get messages and go shopping. Then we had lunch with our ward mission leader and zone sports. Now today in zone sports was, let's just say it was very intense. We played volleyball and chair futbol and my team won every single game and with topping of that W's since winning isn't everything but I came out at the end of the day with bruises all over, took like 25 shots to the chest and face and stomach and my feet hurting. Hey y'all,   Tuesday, for the rest of the day we went to the mall to shop and get massages. Then we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and spent a couple of hours at the comic store. Then cleaned the car for tomorrow since it's zone conference. We went to the church to finish emailing and play ball. We had 2 lessons and one of them fell through but the other lesson was great and then we did some finding in the pouring rain. Wednsday, we had zone conference and that lasted FOREVERRR. Then we went to the church to have a chapel tour for an investigator Mike and it was a neat and spiritual experience. We had dinner at the Shoemakers house and went to mutual. For the rest of the evening we went to try some referrals. Thursday, it was one of the Elders in my district birthday so we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and went to a lesson that went well.
