CNY in A Day in the Mission - 2/20/18

Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. We came back to the flat to change and headed out to camp wildwood for sports. Then we did some finding until we exchange with the district leader. I got the greenie so I'll be training him tomorrow. Wednsday, we did some service for a former-investigator and then we did some finding until dinner with the De Guzmans and had a part member family lesson. Then we went to mutual and had a lesson with an investigator who is getting baptized next Saturday and had a district video conference and exchange back. Thursday, we did some weekly planning and visited an investigator who's going through a nasty trail next week. Then we did some more finding and had RB correlation. Friday, we helped an investigator and had a lesson with investigators. Then we had district meeting and lunch. Then we visited a part-member family and got the son set with a baptismal date for the 24th of March and had dinner with the Steinmans at this Vietnamese restaurant. Then we visited a family in the Lake Hodges ward and had a lesson with Cookie who's getting baptized next Saturday! Saturday, we had district morning sports and got ready for this blitz thing call "A Day in the Mission" which is doing slits with ward members and going out to find less-active members and former investigators. There is going to be like 80 missionaries and 60 members who is going to do this blitz thing. So it was fun but took a long time. My compaion for the blitz thing is Justin Poulson and he went to byu for a semester and he knows a few people from bountiful and he also went to high school with the Justice and Rockets boys that I know from Georgia! Then we did some finding and a lesson with an investigator fell through so we tried a few people before dinner with the Haderlies. Then we did some finding and made a baptismal program for next Saturday. Sunday, we went to church for both wards and at the end of sacrament meeting for the second ward, I ran into the former Aubrey Harmmer. It was so great and kinda crazy to see her here! Then we had dinner with the Stohs and had a baptismal interview/lesson with Cookie! And she passed! Monday, we visited a few people and went to teach the ESL class for Farsi speakers. Then we did some finding until dinner with the Smalls. Then we visited a less-active family and did some more finding.
