New Language, District Leader, White Wash, Opd Companion (Elder Chen), Same Me - 3/6/18
Tuesday, we did some laundry and went shopping. Then we went to the church to have multi-zone sports and had dinner. Then we tried some referrals and less-actives. Wednsday, we went to see a less-active who is in EMT training and needed to take our vials and had back-to-back service with a member and a former-investigator. Then we visited a few investigators and had dinner with Rosa who's a less-active member and had LH correlation. Thursday, we went to have lunch with the Del Norte elders at an all you can eat buffett and had weekly planning, writing a draft email to our DL to fix the issue with one of our ward mission leaders because he's a hypocrite and told us that we're not doing a good job, comparing us to the missionaries in Boston and he's not supportive. And that's pretty much the nicest way of putting it. And we worked on stake packets and visted a few investigators and did some finding. We had 3 appointments and one of them cancelled but both of them went well. Friday, we finished weekly planning and administrative stuff. Then we visited a few people and had dinner with the De Guzmans and visted a family in one of our wards. Saturday, we had district sports and played futbol with some members in the RB ward. Then we had district meeting at the Mormon Battalion and went back to my old area because one of my investigators that I taught was getting baptized! It was an awesome experience. Then we had dinner and play some ball with some youth. Sunday, we went to LH ward council and had church for both wards. During one of the lessons, we were talking about the Abrahamic law and tying it back to adopting and born under the covenant, and I told my story of how I was adopted and got sealed in the temple. Then we had dinner with the Henry's and went to visit a less-active member and his family Ans visted another family. Monday, we got up super early to go on a district hike and had breakfast after since it's the last day before transfers. So, I just found out that I'm going to white-wash in UC 2nd with Elder Chen (one of my trainers) in La Jolla learning Mandarin Chinese plus a district leader. This is the first time that they called Mandarin Elders in over 20years, big major changes! Then we had zone service and came back to the flat to start packing and do some laundry. Then we went to the ESL class for Farsi speakers and tried to visit an investigator and finished packing until dinner with the Murrays and visted a few families in the wards.
