Uber Drivers? 3/20/18

First I would like to say, thank y'all for all the birthday wishes, packages and letters. I'm an actual adult. I had a great birthday! Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we came back to the flat to change and put stuff away. I got a haircut and we went to pick up the ZLs to get some lunch and went to the beach as a district to play on the beach. Then a member in the UC 1st ward took us out to dinner and did some finding. Wednsday, we did our studies and went to the stake centre to do a baptismal interview for the Zone Leaders. Then we had lunch and went to do some finding until dinner with the Speeds. Then we did some more finding and went back to the flat to prepare for call-ins. Thursday, we went to go pick up some of the ASL Elders and went to the church for interviews with President. Then we did our studies and had lunch and went to the library to have Elder Chen do his MyPlan. Then we did some weekly planning and visited a less-active member but it turned out she was never baptized but we have records for her, weird but hey, new investigator. Then we finished weekly planning and had dinner with the Rasmussens who are members we live with. Then we did some finding but while we were finding, we stopped off the side of the road and a random guy opened the door and got in while smoking some weed and asked us to take him somewhere because he thought we were his uber driver, haha. We did some finding for the rest of the evening. Friday, we did our studies and had a little lunch before service for "grandma" and a linner with her. Then we had a lesson with an investigator but that fell through so we did some finding for the rest of the evening. Saturday, we had district meeting and dropped off a package for the Chaplin, he was a nice guy. Then we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and did our studies. Then we went to to Balboa and Doyle Park to do some finding. While we were at Balboa Park, we saw lots of intresting people there since it was a St. Patrick's Day party that we didn't know about. We went to Mira Mesa for dinner with some members from the Mandarin Group and try to see a potential. Sunday, we went to ward council for UC 2nd ward and then had lunch. We got a potiential investigator and she's a self-referred too and she told us that she needs to be baptized and that she has a desire to become a member!! One of the members in the UC 2nd ward came up to me and told me that she knows me from somewhere but she couldn't remember where. I don't know her, but apparently she remembers me from Shanghai. Mum- her name is Amy O'Keefe if that ring any bells, anyways, she remembers me. Then we went to help a member at her office to take out the trash at UCSD and she fed us lunch. Then we went to the Mandarin Group church and an investigator came to church! Then we had dinner at the Nelsons and tried to visit a few people. Monday, we did service with our zone leaders at a food bank and they gave us a lot of food and we went to get some lunch after. We did our studies and did some finding until dinner with the Bergs and had ward correlation after. Then we had a lesson with a less-active member for the Mandarin Group.

Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we came back to the flat to change and put stuff away and dropped off our car at the shop to get 4 new tires and a oil change. The zone leaders picked us up and went to Sea World! I haven't been to Sea World since Blake and Kenzie's wedding. We had a blast at Sea World! Almost Got Towed - 2/27/18

 Tuesday, for the rest of the day, we went to the temple and got some lunch. We had a multi-zone sports day so that was fun! Then we did some prep for the baptism for this Saturday. Wednesday, we cleaned our place up for inspections tomorrow morning. Then we did some service for someone in the ward and did some finding. Then we did some finding until dinner with the Krauses and visited a few families in the wards. We got a tow notice thing on our car. Then had a district video conference call. Thursday, we cleaned up our place before we got our flat inspected. Then we had a lesson with a part-member family but that fell through so we contacted a few people. We got another tow notice thing today. Then we had dinner with the Paynes and two good lesson in the evening. Friday, we did some service for someone who's right now a potential and then had district lunch and meeting. Then we went to dinner at the Trepeniers and visited a family. New Language, District Leader, White Wash, Opd Companion (Elder Chen), Same Me - 3/6/18

 Tuesday, we did some laundry and went shopping. Then we went to the church to have multi-zone sports and had dinner. Then we tried some referrals and less-actives. Wednsday, we went to see a less-active who is in EMT training and needed to take our vials and had back-to-back service with a member and a former-investigator. Then we visited a few investigators and had dinner with Rosa who's a less-active member and had LH correlation. Thursday, we went to have lunch with the Del Norte elders at an all you can eat buffett and had weekly planning, writing a draft email to our DL to fix the issue with one of our ward mission leaders because he's a hypocrite and told us that we're not doing a good job, comparing us to the missionaries in Boston and he's not supportive. And that's pretty much the nicest way of putting it. And we worked on stake packets and visted a few investigators and did some finding.
