Jan 9th, 2018 - Baptisms and Chick-Fil-A

Hello All!

First I like to say our prayers and love goes out to the Monson family as our dearly beloved Prophet Thomas S. Monson passed away this week. We all love and miss him.

Shout-out to Dave and Karly because little Eliza was born and also Paige and James because little Charles/Russell/Benjamin will be born very soon!

Tuesday, for the rest of the day we went to the church and email and have partial zone sports. Then we went to have a lesson and tried some referrals. We did exchanges with Arabic and had pizza rolls. Wednesday, we did some studies and 2hrs of language study and lunch. Then we went to go do some finding until we went to the church to have a baptismal interview. After that, we went to a member's house to pick up food that they bought us and went to dinner. We then went to a recent convert's house to have the new member lessons.

Thursday, we went to the church to set up for interviews with the President and then we stayed there for a while until we had a pass-off-lesson with Spanish but the guy wasn't there, so we got lunch. Then we tried to go find some former investigators and have weekly planning until dinner. Then we went to another lesson after dinner but that fell through since he wasn't there too, so we went to finish weekly planning.

Friday, I went to the doctors office to get a check up and then had THE BEST lunch because we went to Chick-Fil-A!!! It was the first time in 5 months and the first of the year. Then we had a lesson but he stood us up so we started to go do finding. Then we went to Mt. Helix for service and that lasted for a while. We had a really good lesson with an investigator who's going to be baptized soon.

Saturday, we had coordination with the ward mission leader and had 2 baptisms. We went to Arabic's baptisms first and then had lunch and went to Grantie Hills' baptism. We went to go do some finding before we went to dinner and do more finding after.

Sunday, we went to ward council and had church. Then we went to do home-bounds and had district meeting. We went to a lesson but he stood us up so we went to try some referrals before dinner. Then we did some finding and tried to visit some former-investigators.

On Monday, we did some service for this lady who moved into the ward. Then another member called us and said that she'll take us out to lunch, so we did. Then we went to do some finding until dinner and then more finding. Tuesday, well it's pouring rain here, so that sucks.
