Dec 19th, 2017 - Soon to Merry Christmas

Hello All! 
This past Tuesday, we went to the store to get stuff and got lunch at this Mediterranean place - it was so good. Then we went to Balboa Park and to the zion building to have zone sports and get mail. We came back to the flat and got ready for a baptismal interview for our investigator, then tried some referrals. 
On Wednesday, I started writing my 5min talk for church this Sunday. It's about "enduring the gifts of Christmas". Then we went to the church to have weekly planning and have lunch. We then went to help our neighbor Laith with setting up a new wifi system - it took a lot longer than I thought because he hasn't paid his bill and forgot the account password. We had dinner with the Riggs and went to mutual. Later, we had the last lesson with Christa before her baptism on Friday. We exchange with the Arabic Elders and I'm going to be in Arabic work all day tomorrow. Thursday, we went to have a lesson in Arabic at the church and then had personal study until district meeting and lunch. We went back to the flat and had had language and comp study. Then we did some other stuff and street contacting until we had the Arabic language class and did some more street contacting. Friday, we had district sports and did some service for the Mt. Helix concert tomorrow evening. Then we cleaned the primary room because it was dirty and then had the baptism for Christa and it was a neat experience. Then we went to the bishops sons school choir concert at a Baptist church so that's cool. Saturday, we went to the Arabic baptism and had a brunch with the Hohnsteins. Then we did service to finish setting up for the Mt. Helix Concert and came back to get ready for the evening. We went up an hour later to get ready for the show and had a great evening. Sunday, we went to ward council and the stake packet meeting and church. I also have a short little talk in church and then we went to go see some investigators and members. We had dinner with the Clarks and stopped by to see some less-active members. Monday, we got up to drive to Mt. Helix to watch the sunrise and got ready for service. Then we went longboarding, had lunch and went longboarding again after the service. We went to visit some investigators and had dinner with the Kerns. Tried to visit some more investigators. Tuesday, we went to the store to get stuff and cleaned the flat.

Tuesday, we did our laundry and went shopping. Then we came back to the flat to change and put stuff away and dropped off our car at the shop to get 4 new tires and a oil change. The zone leaders picked us up and went to Sea World! I haven't been to Sea World since Blake and Kenzie's wedding. We had a blast at Sea World! Our mission president gave us permission to ride the rides too! Then we went to the mission office to get mail and needs. Then we went to pick up the car and got ready for the evening. We had an interesting but good lesson with a less-active member and went to Balboa Park to do some finding and played badminton while finding too! By the way, I'm pretty terrible at badminton but it's fun and pretty intense. Wednsday, we did our studies and Elder Chen did MyPlan and had lunch. Almost Got Towed - 2/27/18

 Tuesday, for the rest of the day, we went to the temple and got some lunch. We had a multi-zone sports day so that was fun! Then we did some prep for the baptism for this Saturday. Wednesday, we cleaned our place up for inspections tomorrow morning. Then we did some service for someone in the ward and did some finding. Then we did some finding until dinner with the Krauses and visited a few families in the wards. We got a tow notice thing on our car. Then had a district video conference call. Thursday, we cleaned up our place before we got our flat inspected. Then we had a lesson with a part-member family but that fell through so we contacted a few people. We got another tow notice thing today. Then we had dinner with the Paynes and two good lesson in the evening. Friday, we did some service for someone who's right now a potential and then had district lunch and meeting. Then we went to dinner at the Trepeniers and visited a family. New Language, District Leader, White Wash, Opd Companion (Elder Chen), Same Me - 3/6/18

 Tuesday, we did some laundry and went shopping. Then we went to the church to have multi-zone sports and had dinner. Then we tried some referrals and less-actives. Wednsday, we went to see a less-active who is in EMT training and needed to take our vials and had back-to-back service with a member and a former-investigator. Then we visited a few investigators and had dinner with Rosa who's a less-active member and had LH correlation. Thursday, we went to have lunch with the Del Norte elders at an all you can eat buffett and had weekly planning, writing a draft email to our DL to fix the issue with one of our ward mission leaders because he's a hypocrite and told us that we're not doing a good job, comparing us to the missionaries in Boston and he's not supportive. And that's pretty much the nicest way of putting it. And we worked on stake packets and visted a few investigators and did some finding.
