Dec 5th, 2017 - Low Life
Hello all!
On Tuesday, we went to the beach and played games and other stuff. It was fun! Then we went to get food at Denny's and then to the mission office and back to the flat to get ready to shop. Then we had a dinner with the Glenn's and dropped off mail to everyone in the zone.
Wednsday, we went to go see some less-actives and investigators. Because it's Wednesday, we had mutual and talked to one of the young men and see how he's doing. We played scatterball with the young men. We went to go try and find referrals to end the evening. Thursday, we went to the church to do weekly planning and help set up for a dinner. We got lunch and came back to finish weekly planning until we went to go see some investigators. Friday, we had morning sports and got ready for MLC which would be about 8 hours of being in a meeting. We had an hour before dinner so we went to the mission office and then we went to go pick up some Elders. We went out to dinner and go to a temple session, that's pretty much my day.
Saturday, I hooked my boi Bryce Anthon in the Houston Texas mission with the Arabic Elders in my mission. He's been using Google translator for the past 8 months teaching their investigator in Arabic, so our Elders will be a big help. Then we had district meeting and lunch. Then we went back to the church and met up with an investigator. We tried a couple referrals and it was a hit and miss, as usual. We saw a guy on a Ducati popping some wheelies down the road, that was pretty cool. We saw a couple more investigators before we went to get some dinner. We had a good lesson after and met up with the Spanish Elders to talk to one of our investigators mum who doesn't speak any English.
Sunday, we went to ward council and had church. Then we brought the sacrament to someone in the ward and came to the flat to change and take a quick nap. We did our studies and talked to the Spanish Elders. Then we went out to see investigators and dropped off one of my companions at the stake choir rehearsal. In the meantime, my other companion and I went to members house to pick up food that they were giving to us. We went to go pick Elder Vasquez up and went to dinner and tried to visit some potential investigators. At the end of the night, we went to the Arabics flat and hid so we can scare them. We also seran-wrapped their toilet. Monday, I went on splits with one of the Arabic Elders to do some service while my companion went to the doctor's office and the other Arabic Elders went to teach a lesson. Then we came back to the flat to change and get ready for DLC which took about 2 and half hours. Then we went to talk to some investigators and a referral who we got from a couple in Oregon. They told us to give a Book of Mormon to someone they know in El Cajon and report what happened to another guy in Oregon who's in prison, hitting that low life and getting ourselves dirty. Then we had dinner with the Harrods and had a good lesson after. We tried a couple more referrals before we rest. Tuesday, we went to Mira Mesa to get some exercise equipment and to the mission office to get the mail and other stuff.
